Review | Eyesome Beauty Pressed Glitter

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well? Long time no blog right?

A lot has been happening though. As some of you may already know, the Makeup Artist Guild of Nigeria ( MAGN)  was officially launched on Tuesday 11th July 2017, and it was a huge success. It's wonderful to finally have a governing body for our growing industry.

So if you following me on Snapchat or Instagram you would have noticed that I am on a roll with the Eyesome Beauty Pressed Glitter.

I received this palette from Jumoke Tychus of  Eyesome Beauty Products at the last Lagos Makeup Fair. I was already a fan of Eyesome Glitters, so when Jumoke handed this palette to me I was pretty  excited to try it out.

What I didn't know was that, it would take me just 3 trials before I reviewed it, but when a product is as lit as this, there is no need to code the gist. This is one gist I have to spread fast.... *big grin*

Let's get to it...

WHAT EYESOME BEAUTY SAYS -

This mini glitter palette is highly pigmented, very handy and compact. It comes in 12 beautiful colours, with a mirror and very pocket friendly.

The colours include-
  • brown
  • orange
  • blue
  • gold
  • silver
  • purple
  • red
  • olive green
  • black
  • leaf green
  • magenta
  • multi colour

PACKAGING-

The Eyesome Beauty Pressed Glitter comes in a square sturdy black palette, which has a mirror attached to it. The individual colours are in a small round pan.

TEXTURE-

It has a soft creamy texture, but it doesn't feel oily or sticky.

MY THOUGHTS-

So my first impression of the Eyesome Beauty Pressed Glitter Palette was, " absolute wooow, oh my days".... I was completely blown away by the colours, the pigmentation and the texture. It's so shiny and shimmering and I couldn't wait to create different looks with it. One good thing about this pressed glitter is that you don't need to use any glitter glue, just your regular eye primer or eye shadow base would get the work done.

I have tried 6 out of the 12 colours, and application was really simple. After applying my eye shadow base, I use an eye shadow brush to pick up the glitter, then I go ahead to apply on my lid. There is usually some fallout , but very minimal and nothing wipes can not fix.

I really love this pressed glitter from Eyesome Beauty. The quality is very good, it stays in place through out the day till you are ready to take it off, it doesn't crease, it doesn't transfer to the lashes, and it doesn't irritate the eyes.

The only problem I have with Eyesome Pressed Glitter is that the palette has a tendency to get messy, but I found a solution to that. Carefully use a q tip to clean up the edges of each individual pan, depending on the colour you used.

The best way to take off eye makeup especially glitter is to use makeup wipes/baby wipes and baby oil or olive oil.

Would I recommend the Eyesome Beauty Pressed Glitter? A big fat YES I would, as it is real value for money.
