Lipstick Series | Vampy

Hey dolls,

Happy New Month to you all and welcome to September. So its another Tuesday, and It happens to be the concluding part of my Lipstick Series.  For today's collection, I decided to name it "Vampy".

When I think of vampy, what comes to mind is a very dark shade, it could be purple, it could be brown or even black. Some vampy lips can be worn on a regular day, but some would look better on the runway...

It may be difficult to pull off a vampy lips, but once you get it right you are sure to rock it . One trick I've learnt about pulling off a good vampy lip is to go soft on the eyes.

So here are my 4 lipsticks which I consider vampy and their different finishes...

  • L.A Girl Matte Pigment Gloss in Backstage - It applies as a liquid, but has a matte finish
  • NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen- It applies as a liquid but has a soft matte finish
  • Mac Lipstick in Cyber- It has a satin finish
  • Sleek Flash-a-Pout in Duke-  This also applies as a liquid, but finishes extremely matte.

Swatches...

I hardly wear these colors of lipstick, not because I don't like then, but I am more of a bright lips kinda girl.

As usual, with my 4 lipstick collections, I would only select my best of all...

NYX soft matte lip color in Copenhagen is my absolute best in this collection. It's a dark plum color, with reddish base and purple tones. I love how it applies on the lips. It has a very soft texture and it's extremely lightweight. It can last about 4 hours, you can always touch up on it and it won't leave that sticky tacky grossness on the lips. I love it...

And that's all folks, I hope you all enjoyed my Lipstick Series, as much as I enjoyed sharing it.

So how loves the dark side and what vampy lipsticks are you loving currently? Please tell us about it...

xoxo
