And so I Colored my Hair....

I saw my friend in School the other day, and she was spotting a bright blonde hair, I suddenly remembered that I actually purchased this Dark and Lovely Color Intensity a long time ago and I had almost forgotten about it.

Instantly , I knew it was time to give it a try and have a new look.

I went to the salon and I told the hair colorist that I wanted to do just the tips of the hair, so she prepared everything and applied the product on the tips of my hair. After a while she came back to check it, and she told me : "It will come out better if you color the entire hair". I decided to trust her judgement and go with the flow.

My hair was covered in a shower cap and then I went under the dryer for about 15mins.... After washing the color off my hair, I looked in the mirror and I was stunned!!!

I wasn't exactly sure how I felt about it, I looked completely different. Short natural copper hair????

I'm not exactly in love with this hair color o, honestly I've called myself different names, some I can't even write here. I look orangey!!! Now I am thinking, how would I rock green eye-shadow or purple lipstick with this hair color though?

My sister said:  Don't worry, the hair color will grow on you.

My hubby said : Ahhh, you are controversial.

I'll rock it, i'll make the best of it.. who knows , my feelings may change!!!

So tell me, what do you think?

  1. It actually looks great on you and your skin tone. What I am most concerned about is the effects it would have on your hair. Can you do a follow blog on how to care for your colored hair and if there were any changes you may notice along the way. Thanks

  13. I love that color and used it to ombre my natural hair. Haven't had any problems with the dye and my hair is of the fine breakable variety.
It suits you well and when your hair grows out it'll look like your tips are on fire!
