Maybelline Masterclass with Bimpe Onakoya

Hi lovelies, i hope your week is going fine? I attended the Maybelline materclass held on monday 10th march at Radisson Blu Hotel in Lagos which was anchored by the one and only Bimpe Onakoya, Creative Director of Maybelline New York in Nigeria.
It was an awesome time indeed, as i learnt so much about correct makeup application, getting a flawless look, proper highlighting and contouring as well as eyebrow filling. It was so amazing how Bimpe used one product, the colossal kajal liner to demonstrate different smokey eyes, from everyday smokey eyes to runway smokey eyes. As a word of advice, She spoke on the fact that it was Ok to draw inspirations from others, but at the same time we should build ourselves and skills, rather than copy someone else. After the class we had buffet, and there was lots to eat and drink, after which we had a Q&A session. I took lots of pictures, here are some below..... Bukola Balogun , the Brand Manager of Maybelline Nigeria, giving us a brief history about Maybelline, interesting story!!!! Hands on Practical demonstration..... Time to eat...... Socializing.... It was a wonderful experience and I am glad I was a part of it. Do share your thoughts, and till my next post, Stay Beautiful. CM

    1. Thanks alot, you should hashtag me on instagram so we can relate better *winks*

i first got the revlon colostay in toast but it was too light for me, then i got caramel. and guess what i also use mary kay 507 and mac nc50, so wat i do is sometimes i use caramel alone, sometimes i mix caramel and a little toast. perhaps you can try that too. there is actually rich ginger which i believe is inbetween toast and caramel... i would try that soon..

      hope this helps
